Diamond Bear Marathon

One hundred percent of your $50 dollar registration will be donated to charity for developing a treatment and cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as "Lou Gehrig's disease". The recipient will be:

Arkansas is the only state to host a diamond mine, and once was known as the Bear State because of its large and prolific population of Black Bears, hence the name "Diamond Bear".
The course is 12+ laps of 2.1 miles around the lake on a relatively flat, paved recreation trail.
We are located in the Little Rock area, only 14 miles from the start/finish of the Little Rock Marathon to be held the following day.
There is a limit of 20 runners.
There will be one light aid station with water, Gatorade, and snacks that you will pass every every lap of 2.1 miles. You will also pass the park rest rooms every lap. You can leave a drop bag at the start/finish line which will be easily accessible each lap.
Parking is available at and very near the start/finish area.
Bibs can be picked up beginning at 6:30am on race day at the start/finish area in the park.
Finishers will receive a nice, unique award.
